Calit2 is located in two buildings on the UCSD and UCI campuses. At UCSD, the building is located on Voigt Drive next to the School of Engineering. At UCI, the building is located on Engineering Lane.

Parking is available for UCSD at the Gilman Parking Structure, and for UCI there is a separate parking lot.

Visitors to either building must stop in at the reception desk, located on the 5th floor at UCSD and on the 4th floor at UCI.
