The UCSD Division has offered fellowships to outstanding graduate students. Intended for first year students, we have offered an average of twenty-nine fellowships per year for the first five years of the fellowship program. Fellowships are funded by industry partners with the objective of making attracting the highest caliber scholars to UCSD's graduate programs. Recipients are selected by faculty in their academic discipline during each academic year.

Many Calit2 funded projects have funds to support graduate student researchers (GSRs). Students generally become involved through their advisors' involvement in various projects and contribute directly to the projects' research objectives.
