The UC Irvine division of California Institute for Telecommunications and Information Technology [Calit²] is pleased to announce a research review symposium at the UCI campus on Friday, April 5, 2002.

The symposium, an annual event featuring work by faculty in the UCI Department of Information and Computer Sciences, highlights IT trends that impact daily living, such as Internet security, the management of information during a crisis, and software development. Of particular note, is the symposium's dual focus this year on both traditional ICS research strengths as well as research within Calit².

Poster sessions will be held during the morning breaks, and a reception held in the afternoon after the panel discussion.
