RECOMB Bioinformatics Education Conference

By Alex Matthews

San Diego, April 27, 2009   -- The first RECOMB Satellite Conference on Bioinformatics Education, organized in March by the Calit2-based Center for Algorithmic and Systems Biology (CASB) at UC San Diego, is now history. RECOMB-BE showcased best practices and participants discussed existing challenges in bioinformatics education, with an emphasis on undergraduate education. The conference also promoted collaborations among educators in order to develop a stable curriculum that truly reflects state-of-the-art bioinformatics.

Now, the RECOMB-BE presentations are available for on-demand viewing below. [Windows Media Player and broadband connection required; click for information on the latest version, and on players for Mac and Linux users]. To watch each video, click on the image or highlighted video link.
