ISR first Annual Research Forum

UC Irvine's Institute for Software Research will hold its first annual Research Forum on June 18, from 1:30 PM to 7:30 PM in the McDonnell Douglas Auditorium on campus. This year's program focuses on concerns in software architectures, applications, and the relationship between organizational structures and software systems. Several researchers associated with Calit² are active in ISR and will be involved in the forum.

Bill DresselhausThe keynote presentation will be given by Bill Dresselhaus, IDSA, President and Founder of Dresselhaus Design Group, Inc., and author of the book ROI: Return On Innovation.

The forum will feature three panel discussions on software architecture, organizations and groups, and applications. The annual event is intended to bring together researchers, leaders in industry, and technical practitioners to discuss current research areas and trends, to formulate visions for future research, to encourage interaction between academia and industry, and of course to showcase ISR research. Research posters and demonstrations will be highlighted at the evening reception.
