1.12.2006 -- OptIPuter is an NSF-funded Information Technology Research (ITR) program that is prototyping a 21st-century cyberinfrastructure based on optical networking to support data-intensive scientific research and collaboration.
The All-Hands Meeting on January 18 and 19 is a forum for face-to-face discussions of current year activities, accomplishments, and future plans. It is expected to attract almost 70 international partners.
On Friday, January 20, an "Open House" will provide interested colleagues and communities with an opportunity to learn more about the OptIPuter project. Specifically, discussions will focus on the day's theme: "Extending the OptIPuter to the Broader e-Science and HPC Communities."
More information on the AHM and Open House is available on the OptIPuter website .
