Bio: Falko Kuester is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (EECS) at the University of California, Irvine. His research interests include tera-scale scientific visualization, real-time computer graphics, virtual reality, augmented-reality, image based modeling and rendering, computer aided geometric design as well as distributed and remote visualization. Application areas of his research include simulation based design, rapid prototyping, computational fluid dynamics, earthquake engineering, biomedical engineering and command and control.
