Job Description:Alex Hubenko is a program manager as Calit2, where she manages RESCUE and ResponSphere, working with academic and staff researchers to ensure the goals of the research projects are being carried out. She works closely with the local first responder community including UCSD campus police and Emergency Services, and the San Diego Police to understand their communications needs, test out new technologies that have applications to emergency response, and participate in drills with the project teams. Alex is involved with outreach to industry and other organizations that are involved in homeland security and emergency response activities, and manages some of the UC Discovery automotive projects and automotive related initiatives with the Service Oriented Software Systems & Engineering lab.
