Job Description:Doug Ramsey divides his time between the Qualcomm Institute (the UCSD Division of Calit2) and the Computer Science and Engineering department at UC San Diego. He has primary responsibility for media relations and writing news releases as well as feature articles and interviews profiling the activities of UCSD Division and Jacobs School faculty, staff and student researchers. Ramsey is also responsible for multimedia production, including Calit2's series of live and archived webcasts of seminars and conferences, as well as original documentaries and short features that air on UCSD-TV and in streaming video format on the Web.
